This and That

This and that....everyday life....sometimes the same as other days and sometimes different. Carpe Diem! We had some nice weather and definitely took advantage. It is not typically nice at this time of year.

Momma keepin her babies close!
Frost! It's true ;)
Miss Elsa
It's calving season......these ones are about a month old and will soon be ready for the paddocks.
Elsa and I go check on the calves every so often :)

Henry getting snacks after his footy game.
Look how cute they are....this was their first day in the paddock!

They are loving it!
Bert, the farmer

Helleyer Beach. I had to snap a couple photos because I stop here every so often for a run or walk or whatever I feel like :)
Sisters Hills looked so awesome with the lighting on this night

A walk along the Inglis River with Pip and the two youngest.
Picnic time at the beach!
View down the coast.

Pip and William

Elsa and I. Haha....oops her beanie was covering her eyes!

Can you spot the kookaburras?
Livy and Millie going for a ride on their ponies.

Haha, Inga is sticking out her tongue!
Millie, a horse lover!
Haha....out to brunch with these silly ladies ;) Pip, Jane, Noleen and Veronica.
Elsa, exploring the beach after brekky.
Hmmm, I wonder what this is?!

Crab hunting.....turn over the rocks and see how many there are.

Elsa loved it. Every time she'd find some, she'd squeal with delight.

Another day to Mt. Gnomon

The view was stunning, across the paddocks. The sea was to the left.

We stumbled across a GeoCache treasure. Pip was excited! :)
True fact....they are mushrooms. Have you ever seen flower shaped ones?!
Mr. William is just adorable!

My Tassie adventure is nearly over and I'll be off to my next adventure in Europe! I hope you have all enjoyed the travels!

Take care.
Cheers!

Local Tassie Adventures

To keep the spice of new adventures rolling.....I have also started sorting onions a couple days a week! It certainly keeps things interesting and I hope you all enjoy the pics.

Here are a couple fellow onion sorters, Jenna and JulieAnn.
And Shawn

The scene.
Let's just say, I am pretty much pro and that it is fantastic! ;)

Pretty much anywhere in Tassie, a person can come across cattle shifting. So please wait your turn! ;)
The next few pictures......field trips with my nanny family, or at least part of it!
Peggs Beach, it was just a bit chilly!
Elsa and I having a brilliant time!

Pip, a fantastic lady to work for!

Way to go Livi! You made it to the top :)

Miss Elsa :)

Just to prove it's winter! ;) A few frosty mornings! Tassie winter isn't too harsh. Most of the winter they can still grow grass for the cows. Awesome climate for the farmers.

A frosty windscreen

A hike on Postmans Track. Mille and Liv are wonderful girls and did awesome on the trek.

I just can't get enough....how do I absorb it all?! It was a stunning day :)

I do not ever grow tired of seeing this!

Banksia Plant......there is a cartoon book about these plants. Quite cute.

Millie and Liv found this heart shaped stump and wanted me to take a picture!

Almost done!
There has been some action on the farm as well. It is currently calving season and these little lambs were born, much to everyones delight!

Baby Will is growing like a champ! He's such a good little guy!

Another adventure....going GeoCaching.....an app that brings you on a treasure hunt. Here, Veronica is writing that we found the treasure and is logging it into her phone.

The kids were much more entertained in finding crabs.

Danielle, a fellow American from North Carolina and Pip.

Not a worry to these kids....they pick up the crabs and let them crawl around!

Off to find the beached whale!
