The life I know, Part One.

Let's play a little catch up.......since we (us girls) signed our work contracts, we had a few days to enjoy before starting our new job.....it consisted of relaxing to its fullest. Lounging by the pool, a book in hand (or sometimes an electronic device because the wifi was better near the pool), strolls down the boardwalk, taking in the sights of small town Airlie, shopping in their enormous mall (which consisted of a grocery store, news store, and a handful of other shops. haha), slacklining, and visiting with the new folks of the caravan park (as in the other travelers that come for just a night).

Brianna keeping cool in the lovely swimming pool!
A praying mantis. It was huge just enjoying the bench we were about to sit on.
It startled us at first and eventually I got brave enough to hold it.
Buff, just loving the slack line! Which is apparent by her grin :)
Mia, only concentrating.....not to be distracted.
This is a home of a bloke who has lived this way for a year and a half.
I couldn't imagine. He says he likes it though, so that's cool.
I love these parrots....they are so colorful!
An old Mini Cooper. The lady that owned it, lives at the Caravan Park.....I think.
And this lady.......it's a small fortress! Just more and more traps to create a hallway type structure between two tents.
She's great. She works at a store right down the road and she has her two bikes from which she can choose her mode of transportation ;)
Peeling Eucalyptus in progress! It's so cool.....
apparently the trunks can be different hues of colors
 depending on the type.
For all of you folks who have been waiting so patiently
for a picture of a Kookaburra! Here you go :)
A view into the bay from the Caravan Park.
Along the boardwalk, going into town.
Marina
For all you car folks, here you go. A little buggie that could be available for a spin around town if you just find the correct owner and if they are willing, of course! :)
Airlie Beach from the boardwalk view.

Downtown Airlie Beach
This is the end of part one....please continue to part two to get the most updated information! Thank you and may you all have a wonderful day :) Cheers.
