Melbourne II

Upon arrival in Aussie, from Bali, Mia and I met up with her aunt Hilkka to begin a three week touring adventure. The first few days were in Melbourne......checking out some more city sights!

Oh the places you'll go.....

....and the feet you'll see.....I was actually trying to capture these lovely chunky heeled shoes that seem to be quite the fashion these days......flashback to the 90's.

Hilks and Xerox enjoying their coffees before we get cultured at the Art Museum.
What do you reckon.....tourists?! :) I love all the color combos.

Our tour led us through European arts beginning with the 1600's through to the 18 or 1900's.
Do you think Hilkka is enjoying the vases?

Scenes of Jesus' life.
Philipp Melanchthon, a personal friend of Martin Luther.
A fight between Hercules and Antaeus.

Moses and the Red Sea.

Cleopatra and Mark Anthony

Cool sundial eh?
Queen Victoria statue

Clearly there are a lot of H&M banners! It was the first one to open in OZ and it opened on this day! We went to check it out and the line wrapped around the block. I reckon it'll be a popular. The prices are attractive in comparison to other places.
Melbourne by night. I love the city lights :)

The ghosts of people walking by. ;)

Mia and Hilkka enjoying the evening as well.
Cheers folks and stay tuned for the next part.....the coast line between Melbourne and Sydney.
