Okay folks, I reckon Singapore is one of the coolest airports I've been in. If you are going to have a seven hour layover, it may as well be here!
First of all, there are three terminals you can explore.....one may have an orchid garden, while the other two leave you with a choice of an outdoor sunflower garden or butterfly pavilion. Since, Anita (A gal from Melbourne) and I had the time, we did it all. To top it off, we also took advantage of the free Singapore tour. We took a bus from the terminal and got a brief introduction to Singapore, home to 10 million people. It's also interesting to note that the island is independent and is 22 kilometers across one way and 43 kilometers the other way.

Gardens throughout the airport....and perhaps one or two Koi ponds can be spotted as well.
Our tour guide informed us that the Formula One race is going to be held here next week and they use their normal roads for the race. Here you can see a few of the barriers going up.
Singapore! A fantastic city, that I hope one day to come back and spend some time in! Our tour guide also told us that if you enjoy shopping and eating, you'd get on okay in Singapore ;)
TTFN. Europe is next.
