Work on the farm

It's time to start work after all the holiday to replenish the pocket book. The quickest job I found was picking fruit. I actually picked apples most of the time, but I took my camera out on the only day I picked pears.

My German coworkers, Coco and Paula. They made a great team.

A typical scene......a fruit bags and bins. We had to fill each one up and we got paid per bin not hour. Good times! :)

Driving the tractors was one of the best parts!

Oops, someone was all excited to get her work clothes washed and forgot to check the pockets before washing.......there went my first check! It was quite funny.

A typical scene after work. Relaxin. Here we have Coco (German), Kat (Estonian), and Steph (French). They were great people. Good laughs!
A German girl and the next couple are as well.

These two girls were from France and were my card playing mates. Skip-bo and Uno were our choice games. :)

Mia, a Swed gal. She plays the guitar wonderfully and apparently is in a band back in Sweden.

Coco and I figured two weeks on the farm was enough and we took the trip back to Melbourne together. I caught a flight later that evening to the Gold Coast to meet up with the girls. They organized a beach house for a week and I couldn't turn them down. I found the next flight out and met up with them for a week on the ocean! It sounded lovely after a couple weeks of working on the farm!
