| Good morning! We started this hike at 0600 am in hopes to miss most of the people and make the most of the gorgeous day. We did have to wait for a couple days before we could hike it because it is completely exposed. This was looking back from where we had come...it's hard to capture the contrasting lights. |

| This is the most sheltered area, where the wind was the almost nil. The shine you see is actually frozen ground. Later that day, it was quite muddy. |
